3 Brand New Foodie Hotspots Taking Paris by Storm

Paris is the destination for gourmets and the food-obsessed. Always moving, it’s hard to keep up with its food scene. But if you’re a die-hard foodie looking for something new to experience, these three spots are definitely worth checking out. From the food market overlooking the Eiffel Tower to the restaurant located inside of the largest startup hub in the world, discover these brand new foodie hotspots in Paris that kicked off 2018 – and upped the ante.

Located inside of the prestigious Printemps department store, on the 7th and 8th floors of Printemps de l’Homme, to be exact, this three-month-old food market is equipped with a view – and one of the best views in the city, may I add. Grab a coffee from Café Lomi or enjoy a glass of rosé on the terrace, feast on a meal courtesy of Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal, purchase made-in-France fine foods and produce, and shop brands like La Maison du Chocolat, Byzance, and Le Palais des Thés. All of this, and more, under one roof, views of the Eiffel Tower included.

This popular pop-up, which has moved around from summer to summer, now occupies the Halle Charolais in the 12th arrondissement. Boasting some of Paris’ favourite eateries, like Faggio, Mr Zhao, and Peppa Porchetta, among others, along with a wine bar and a speakeasy-style cocktail bar, it’s also filled with a boutique, a gallery space, and an outdoor area (where most locals are stationed, drink in hand) with a garden. Keep an eye out for workshops and events held here!

Housed in an old, 1920s freight hall, Station F is slated to become the largest startup hub in the world, hosting 1,000 startups. This massive campus is also home to Big Mamma Group’s latest – and biggest – restaurant venture yet, Mamma F. After making waves with their multi-floor SoPi restaurant, Pink Mamma, this brand new Italian haunt is sure to shake things up. Spanning 3,500 square metres, the restaurant occupies 1,000 seats, four kitchens, a bakery, a coffee shop, and much more.

I’m not a fan of Paris. Bad experience and I haven’t returned to undo my negativity. BUT when I do, I’m definitely heading to Le Printemps du Goût for wine on the terrace and that view!

  3. Station F is awesome. I love the concept and what they are doing there. Wouldn’t it be cool if Detroit did that with the old Grand Central Station? I love how it is simultaneously urban decay and rebirth. I bet the food there is amazeballs.

Given the chance, I would go for Le Printemps du Goût because of the views. Also Station F for its uniqueness, those plants are lovely and provide refreshing views. With its massive space, I’m sure Station F offers many food choices for a fine dining experience.

  5. Paris is on the list. Surely gonna check these out once in the city. Station F looks awesome. I loved the overall concept of that place, it looks so fresh, green and lively.

The food scene has definitely evolved in Paris so I think you’ll have an easier time finding gluten-free restaurants & dishes!
